WHO: Jadzia Dax and Susan Pevensie
WHEN: 226408.28
WHERE:Jadzia's quarters
SUMMARY: Drinking, comforting over the disappearance of a friend, Comforting and then a FTB. Tony would have wanted to be a wingman one more time.
WARNINGS: Not really. Partial nudity, heavy making out before the FTB. Like network TV type stuff.

Jadzia liked to think she’d been prepared for it. But Tony being whisked away had been unexpected and ill-timed and it had taken great strength of will (and the fact she’d been on duty) to not hit the bottle.

But she was now in her quarters and had poured herself a drink. She lifted the glass. “Here’s to you, Tony. I hope you find the peace you deserve.”

She knocked the glass back, and then the door chimed. That was probably Susan, and the only reason she didn’t pour herself a second glass. Though if the Galaxy stole Susan away, she’d probably get tilted on blood wine and challenge half the ship to a duel.

“Come in!”

Susan knew what it was like to lose people in an instant - the literal blink of an eye. Here, it seemed that losing people was even worse, because who knew what they may be going back to. As such, Su felt sorry for Mary, and particularly for Jadzia, and as a result she headed for her friend’s room. When she reached it, she pressed the panel that would let someone inside know she was outside, and after the words came and the door open, she relaxed.

Stepping inside, Susan walked over to Jadzia immediately so that she could hug her. “I’m so sorry about your friend, Jadzia.”

At least with Tony he'd be alive, though for how long was anyone's guess. Jadzia smiled as Susan approached, and wrapped her arms around her in turn. "You're a sight for sore eyes. I'm sorry I've been so busy lately."

And she had been. She hadn't even seen Tony in a couple of days. No chance to say good bye. Jadzia resolved to talk to her friends that were left more often. And maybe say goodbye every night. But that was probably going a little overboard.

Instead of saying that to Susan, she pulled back and cupped her cheeks to kiss her.

“It’s fine, it happens,” she replied, smiling a little and tightening her arms a moment. When Jadzia drew back, she met her gaze questioningly, but the confusion disappeared immediately at the kiss. Automatically, Susan’s hands dropped to Jadzia’s hips to rest there lightly as she returned it tenderly, closing her eyes again.

Susan knew she should probably stop this to make sure the other woman was alright, but, well, she seemed to be at the moment at least.

Kisses couldn’t fix everything, but they were often a bit like a salve on a wound. Jadzia let the kiss linger before she pulled her head away just far enough to leave their foreheads touching. “I’ve got to keep myself from letting work distract me. It’s not even like me to get lost like that. What if it was you that left?”

It was an unhappy thought. Jadzia had grown attached to many on board, Susan in particular. At least she was willing to admit it out loud.

Su smiled a little when Jadzia drew back, but kept her eyes closed for a moment as their foreheads rested against one another. At the woman’s words, she opened them and drew back a little so that she could study Jadzia’s face, and lifted a hand to touch her cheek.

“Or you,” she said quietly, a brief flash of fear in her gaze. “I’m glad it wasn’t either of us.”

"It's a reminder to not take anything for granted." There were things Jadzia hadn't gotten a chance to tell Tony, and she should have. After Mako left, she really should have. She ran her thumb across Susan's cheek, then stroked it across her lower lip. "Everything on this ship is transient. It's starting to feel like nothing we do matters."

“That’s true,” she said. Su smiled at the touch, parting her lips a little. “On the contrary, I think that what we do here matters even more because we may have such a short time together.” And since Jadzia’s thumb was right there, Su gave it a soft nip, her eyes holding a teasing edge.

Breath hitching, Jadzia had to take a moment before she felt like she could respond. It wasn't often she was made to be speechless, but Susan had that effect on her. "Even if we forget each other?"

Did that make it all pointless, or precious? Jadzia was typically an optimist, but she was having a hard time seeing the positives right now.

“We have each other here and now, Jadzia. And...I’d rather know you now than never know you at all.” On that, at least, she was firm. She’d lost so many and had been floundering until recently, but Jadzia helped center her, and this ship made her feel as if she had more of a purpose of some kind.

"Yeah. Okay." Jadzia nodded her head, lifting it but not pulling away. "I think we're on the same page with that. I didn't want to rush into anything. Which is funny, I'm usually the first to rush in. But maybe that's the only way to keep moving forward. We could be here a year. Or a month."

Her lips curved up. "At least I hope I have enough time to give you a proper pet name."

“Please, no pet names,” she replied with a laugh and shook her head. Leaning in, she gave Jadzia another hug, then led her over to the couch so they could sit together. “And I don’t think we’re rushing. This...whatever it is. I don’t think there’s any particular timetable to hold ourselves to.”

"I'll have to find just the right one." She was clearly feeling better, from the teasing in her voice. She sat down, resting her hand on Susan's knee and taking one of her hands with her other. "I'm known for my flings. But when I really care for someone, I really care for someone. You can have me all to yourself, if that's what you want."

She hadn't actually had any flings since she'd first given Susan a tour. No opportunities and then the infatuation had begun.

Su was glad that she’d relaxed, and she squeezed Jadzia’s hand in return, shifting so her leg was a little closer. “I do,” she replied. “Want you to...to myself. I don’t have flings, really...and it’s been a long time since I’ve been with anyone at all.” And she’d already said before that she hadn’t been with a woman.

“But I like being here with you, Jadzia.”

Was it too forward to pull Susan into her lap? Jadzia's fingers twitched on Su's knee. Her smile only widened, and she leaned in closer. "So you want me all to yourself, Susan? I hope you can handle me. I'm high maintenance. It's a lot of work."

Susan smiled and reached up with her free hand to lightly play with Jadzia’s hair. “I think I’m up to the challenge,” she replied softly, then leaned in to take her lips again.

Any clever response was forgotten when Susan kissed her again. She slid the hand on her knee up to her thigh, and deepend the kiss as she did so. It was an emotional one, fueled by the strange kind of grief at losing a friend to the stream of time and space, and the mixture of fear and excitement she felt for Susan.

The hand in Jadzia’s hair slid to the back of her head to pull her in closer while Susan half lay backwards on the couch, returning the kiss hungrily as she did. Her other slipped out of Jadzia’s grasp to grip her hip a second time, unable to resist touching her as much as she could.

She followed Susan down, propping herself up with her now free hand and flicking her tongue teasingly against Susan's lips. Jadzia's other hand slid up, her finger tips stroking at Susan's stomach. The hand at her hip was enough to chase away any residual doubts, and even if Susan hadn't been a Queen, Jadzia knew how to treat her lovers like royalty.

Su’s eyes opened a little at the lick, and after a moment of internal decision-making, both of her hands shifted to the bottom of Jadzia’s uniform shirt. Tugging at it softly, she drew it up just an inch so that her own hands could brush her smooth skin.

Moaning, Jadzia closed her eyes, her kisses becoming more insistent and needier. She took that as permission to move her hand under Su's shirt, and lowered them down until Susan was lying completely on the couch with Jadzia on top of her. Jadzia broke the kiss, but only so she could trail nibbles down Susan's magnificent jaw.

A faint gasp of pleasure escaped the younger woman at the touch, which became something close to a moan when Jadzia nibbled on her neck. She leaned her head back into the cushion below her to allow for better access, even as her own hands slid slowly up Jadzia’s back beneath her shirt, pushing it up steadily at the same time.

Pressing her lips against Susan's pulse point, Jadzia stayed there, savoring the feel of Su's hands on her back. She suddenly smiled against her skin. "Tell me." She kissed that spot again. "Have you been thinking about my spots going all the way down?"

Her lips trailed several kisses back to Susan's, though she only gave them a brief peck to allow the woman to answer.

Another soft moan was heard at the kisses, and when Jadzia spoke, Su’s eyes fluttered open so she could look up at her. She smiled a little and returned the brief kiss, even while nodding.

“S-sometimes,” she said.

"Try not to spend too long counting them," Jadzia winked, then leaned her head down for a long, indulgent kiss. There was some truth to that statement, she'd had one lover who'd done that and it honestly had gotten boring after ten minutes. But Jadzia didn't think that Susan could ever be boring. Even touching her was electric, to say nothing of the buzz that ran through her every time they kissed.

Her romantic side thought that Susan deserved an opera of her very own. Or at least a song.

Susan’s smile grew at her words and she returned the kiss hungrily, eyes closing again as her fingers shifted from Jadzia’s back to her sides. While this was somewhat further than they’d gone before she still liked taking this slowly - but it was hard to stick to that when in reality, she felt a sense of urgency that she really wanted to act upon.

Urgency was fueling Jadzia as well. Susan could be gone tomorrow. And it wasn't even the kind of 'gone' like with Worf. That had been war, which wasn't controllable either but at least there was something to face and pin the blame on. These rifts in time couldn't be fought or controlled. Fleets could do nothing. And until Jadzia and Bruce and the others could figure out how they even worked, they were in the dark.

Jadzia slid her hand entirely under Su's shirt and she murmured, "Stay tonight..."

Her back arched upwards at the touch and she tugged Jadzia a little closer even as she nodded. “I will,” she whispered against her lips, then kissed her again. Almost before she realized what she was doing, Susan tugged at Jadzia’s shirt again, sliding it halfway up, but she stopped there since she was more interested in keeping the kiss going rather than breaking it for clothes to be removed.

Susan's fingers sent little jolts along Jadzia's skin. When she'd asked Susan to stay the night she had meant for more than just sharing a bed. She didn't want to miss out, to not experience and know Susan. She'd done that once in recent months and after the past day she didn't want to feel that way again. She murmured about a zipper, but didn't really want to break the kiss either.

After several minutes of this, Su realized that one of them had to make some kind of move, as nice as this was. Her hands shifted so that she could grip Jadzia’s shoulders and push her back just enough for Susan to sit up a little. She reached for the hem of her own shirt and after a moment of indecision, Su pulled it up and off, dropping it on the floor next to the couch, baring smooth, pale skin for Jadzia - and becoming almost instantly somewhat nervous.

"Hello beautiful." Jadzia's voice was somewhat husky, matching the way her eyes had darkened to an almost stormy blue. She shifted, changing their position so she was straddling Susan, then tugged her blue sciences tunic over her head and tossed it aside. A simple black bra quickly joined it on the floor.

As promised her spots trailed down her neck and upper chest, and covering more of her breasts than one might expect. They continued down, curving from just below her chest to join more spots at her waist, before trailing down the sides of her hips and disappearing into her slacks.

Susan gave her a slightly shaky smile, but her eyes were caught by Jadzia’s, and she was still sitting up as Jadzia took off her shirt and bra. Tearing her eyes from the other woman’s, she was somewhat in awe of just how accurate the statement of the markings going all the way down had been, and after drinking in the sight of her, Su reached up to slide her hands into Jadzia’s hair and pull her in for another kiss.

A buzz of satisfaction ran through Jadzia as Susan took her in. Before she could respond by offering a smart and sexy comment, Susan's hand was in her hair and she was being pulled in for another kiss. When she kissed Susan back, she couldn't quite hold back the desire that was brimming inside of her. She didn't really want to, and she didn't think that Susan minded all that much either.

Susan closed her eyes as a sound of pleasure was heard faintly between their lips, and after a moment one of her hands moved to slide down Jadzia’s back while she lay back down, tugging the other woman with her. This wasn’t what she’d had in mind when she had come to her quarters just a short time before, but honestly Su didn’t mind at all that this was where it was going.

Jadzia blanketed herself on top of Susan. The couch wasn't the most comfortable place for this kind of thing, but she'd carry Susan to the bed when she could think a little straighter. This wasn't what she'd had in mind either, but the moment she'd seen her she'd been filled with a fear that she'd wake up tomorrow and Susan would be gone too.

And she wanted this intimacy with her while she had the chance for it.

It was strange to feel another woman against her, but Susan mentally set the strangeness aside while focusing on Jadzia. Her hands pressed into Jadzia’s hips lightly, fingers squeezing a little. Breaking the kiss, Su nibbled along her jaw a little, just enjoying the moment and every moment they had together.

"You're beautiful." The words were raspy and shaky, Jadzia tilting her head back as Su nibbled at her jaw. "Even when we first talked I thought you were something special."

Su wasn't even normally her type, at least not at first blush. But like most people, she had depths, and the more Jadzia uncovered the more she liked.

Su smiled at that, drawing back just a little. “So are you, Jadzia,” she said softly, lifting one hand to the other woman’s hair to trail her fingers through it. “I’m glad we’re both here, and that we found one another.”

Tracing her fingers along Su's ribs, Jadzia turned her head into the crook of Susan's neck and inhaled deeply. For just a few moments, she allowed herself to look and feel vulnerable. Then she lifted her head and gazed down at Susan. "If anything feels weird or uncomfortable, tell me. I want to share something wonderful with you."

Susan’s cheek tilted against Jadzia’s hair and she took a deep breath, then let it out slowly, smiling. When Jazia pulled back, she opened her eyes to meet hers curiously, and nodded slowly. “....Alright. What is it?”

Jadzia laughed, soft and low as she ran her hands up Susan's stomach to her chest, trailing her hands in a lazy circle. "This, to start." Leaning forward, she kissed along Su's collar bone, and then down her sternum. "And this."

Letting her head drop back onto the pillow at the kisses, she moaned softly in pleasure. Her hands went limp, then moved loosely into Jadzia’s hair while she closed her eyes at the sensations. This was amazing, honestly, and she had no desire to stop even for a moment.

It was an amazing sound, and Jadzia wasn't going to stop until she'd heard more like it. Her hands caressed gently across Susan's skin, and she followed her fingers with her lips. Flicking her eyes up to Susan's, she whispered, "Lets take this to the bed."

A couch was a second date kind of thing.

Susan met her gaze at the words, and after a moment, she gave a nod and started to slowly sit up. Her hands moved to Jazia’s shoulders to hold her in place for a moment so she could kiss the other woman, before smiling at her. Once Jadzia got up, Su could as well.

Lingering for just a little while longer, Jadzia gazed at her, rubbing her hands up and down her sides. She got up, then then held her hands out for Susan. There was still passion and heat and hunger in her eyes, but her motions were gentle and her smile was soft.

Su sat up the rest of the way and slipped her hands into Jadzia’s. She stood, trying hard not to be self-conscious about being shirtless, and gave Jadzia’s hands a slightly nervous squeeze. After a brief pause, she let the other woman lead her through a doorway and into the bedroom she’d slept in a couple of times briefly - but tonight, things seemed different.

Everything was different. There was a tension in the air. Jadzia liked this sort of tension. As the bedroom door swished shut, she turned and pulled Susan flush against her body. She ducked her head and kissed her lovingly. "Still okay with this?"

Her breath caught slightly when she was pulled in, but Su returned the kiss as she tried to relax her shoulders. Nodding, she pressed her lips into Jadzia’s neck. “Yes...I’m just - I’m nervous,” she said faintly, her hands lightly running up and down the other woman’s side.

"What makes you nervous?" The rawness in Jadzia's voice probably wasn't helping, but she led Su to the bed and then sat them both down. She took her hands again and squeezed them.

She met Jadzia’s eyes and blushed a little, shaking her head. “I...haven’t done this very often with anyone. It’s been some time. And you’re the first woman ever….” Trailing off, Susan gently tugged one hand away and raised it to Jadzia’s hair, pushing it behind one ear and letting her fingertips linger on her jaw. “It’s very new for me.”

Susan's fingers felt like more of that electricity, and Jadzia leaned her head towards her hand. "Just follow my lead, and I know you'll do fine."

She lifted a finger and tapped Susan's lip. "I need you so badly right now. But I want this to be a good memory. And to maybe spoil you on other women forever."

She gave a nod, then grinned at Jadzia’s words, giving her finger a soft kiss. “I trust you,” she told Jadzia, then squeezed her other hand. “And I think no matter what, this will be a good memory.”

Breath catching, Jadzia leaned in, kissing Susan freely, before she stood up and shimmied out of her pants. She stood with her hips cocked and her hands on her waist, giving Susan a confident smile, like she was planning to eat Su up.

Shyness had never been one of Jadzia's traits, and she wasn't going to start now.

Susan let her eyes drop, following the signature markings all the way down, then raised them again. Hunger was clear in her gaze, and it was starting to overrule her hesitation, but she wasn’t quite sure she could push her own pants down herself, just yet. Instead, she stepped closer to Jadzia and lifted her hands to cup her face, leaning in to kiss her again tenderly.

The look on Susan's face did more than anything to assure Jadzia that she was into this and any remaining hesitation vanished. She leaned into the kiss, running her hands down Susan's sides and then hooking her fingers into the waistband of Su's pants. She ran them back and forth from front to back several times before she unbuttoned the front and started to gently push Susan back towards the bed.

Su shivered involuntarily at the touch even as she continued the kiss, drawing Jadzia with her as they moved to the bed. When she felt the back of her legs bump against it, she sank back slowly and lowered her hands to Jadzia’s, giving a soft nudge to let her know it was okay to remove her pants now.

With a laugh, Jadzia grabbed onto Su's hips and tugged at her pants while also trying to topple her onto her back. She slid them slowly off, her laughter fading. She licked her lips as she stroked her hands up Susan's legs and back to her hips. "I've seen the birth of stars, but their light pales in comparison to you."

Su’s smile softened at those words, and her eyes darkened with desire. She didn’t even know what to say in response, so instead, she shifted so that she could catch Jadzia’s lips with her own again, hoping to convey how she felt through touch instead of speech, this time at least.

Jadzia lay on top of Susan, returning the kiss and savoring the feel of their bodies together. She let her hands wander and dance across Su's skin, a smile evident in the kiss. She had every intention to touch and explore and pay very close attention to every one of Susan's needs and desires. They were much more important than her own.
