Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

Peter stood and watched the white-haired girl play with ice for a long while before she took a break and he figured he was being a little bit too creepy and probably should either walk away or say something to her. For Merlin knows what reason, he chose to talk to her, ambling over and clearing his throat. "That's a cool castle," he said to her, standing off to the side but not making any assumptions regarding joining her. He held his own drink, a mild beer, in hand.

Caitlin looked up at the young man who had approached and smiled. "Thanks. It's, uh, I'm pretty sure I just made the Disneyland castle. Perhaps for you the Hogwarts castle would be more appropriate?"

She was guessing, actually. But she had seen him in the same vicinity as the other Harry Potter characters, even though she hadn't bothered to figure out exactly who was whom. Still, she nodded to tell him he was welcome to join her.

	He frowned a little. "Do you know what Hogwarts even looks like?" he asked her. She didn't look familiar and he didn't think anyone he knew knew her, but that didn't mean she wasn't a witch too. Except that she wasn't using a wand. That was odd. Peter sat anyway, looking at her creation. "I saw Disneyland castle when we were on Earth." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Caitlin shrugged. Admittedly, she didn't really know what the Hogwarts castle looked like. The books were different from the films, and the castle wasn't always consistent on film. "I have a rough idea, though where I'm from, Hogwarts is fictional."

She took the center tower off her Disneyland castle and created a long sheet of ice for the Great Hall. After that was attached to the rest of the castle, she made an attempt at attaching Gryffindor and the Astronomy tower. She sat back and folded her arms, looking at it. "That must be a woeful representation, I'm sorry."

"Yeah," Peter said. "That's what I've heard. It's a bit weird," he continued on, "knowing that to some people I'm just a fictional character. I mean, you can't really know a person at all if that's the case." And that was the case, even for his mates here. They could only know what they've been told about him, about what he might do some day. He squinted at her creation. "Well, it's not awful anyway."

Caitlin shook her head and looked over at him. "I don't think that's true. Maybe back at home the relationship is real versus fictional, but so many people make those kind of relationships very real. I don't think that should be a barrier for any of us."

She shrugged and stopped playing with the ice, pushing the tray to the other side of the table. "Hungry, Peter?"
