Howard and Peggy
Howard whistled as he breezed into the Lounge, tapping out the percussion parts of "Life Goes To A Party". It was one of his favorite songs, even if it was a decade old by his time and positively ancient by the current calendar year. But he had a lot to be happy about. He'd had a conversation, short as it was, with his son. Rogers was alive and well, as was Barnes. That was a huge surprise. And he'd been behaving himself around Mary. Mostly. He'd made plans with her, at least, and they didn't include activities of a carnal nature, so he was counting that as behaving. So, all in all, life aboard the Enterprise was pretty good.
Now all he needed was some solid time with his favorite British operative, to see how she was doing with everything, and life would truly be grand.
