Rocket needed a drink, badly. Hopefully, this place had something strong for the little creature. His small 4' foot frame came walking in, as he already got looks. Like they'd never seen a talking creature before. But Rocket also knew no one was like him. Already he came to jump up on the counter and place his order. Once it was in, he would move towards one of the tables and take a seat.

That blue drink in hand as he came to look around to those who came and went. A snarl escaped his lips. If anyone called him a Raccoon he was going to rip their eyes out. His arms crossed over his chest as that dark purple ravagers outfit rested over his furry frame.

Bodhi was slowly getting used to the socialising, he knew it was good for him even without a professional telling him so. His mind was recovering and he was feeling more like himself as the days went on. It was a good thing.

He was walking around to find somebody to talk to when a sudden snarl startled him, turning he asked "Are you okay?" Being used to all kinds of aliens he didn't blink at seeing Rocket and it wouldn't occur to him to call him a raccoon.

"Peachy" Is all the small creature replied with as he took a sip of that blue liquid. Already Rockey came to look at Bodhi for the moment. So far he hadn't called him a raccoon, least he was smart. Maybe the only smart one on this ship for that matter.

Rocket wasn't thrilled being the only Guardian here, not to mention being called a raccoon by half the crew. Even if Rocket might have looked like one, didn't mean he was one.

Bodhi wasn't sure if he'd picked the best potential friend in the room, it didn't seem like he wanted to talk but he hadn't moved away so Bodhi took that as a good sign. So he wouldn't give up.

"I'm Bodhi" he said holding out his hand, "I'm a pilot, or I was where I'm from" Here he was a trainee and it was looking doubtful that he'd get to pilot anything.

"Rocket." He replied as he held out his hand to shake his. So far, this guy wasn't as bad as the others. "Guardian of the Galaxy." He replied as he came to bring his hand back and take another sip of his drink. "And that's just one of the things I am." He added as he listened to him says he was a pilot.

"Yeah, I was a pilot too. Not to anything like this, but to the Milano with Quill."

"Guardian of the Galaxy sounds important" he commented, "Like something we could do with where I am from" he added thoughtfully, though it sounded like the rebellion had done what they had intended and stopped the Empire's takeover.

"Milano was your ship?" he questioned interestedly.

As usual, Darcy would be out and head towards that lounge. She didn;t do it often but whens he did it was nice. To just get out and meet new people or meet up with new friends. Her long brunette hair would be tied back as she wore simple jeans and a shirt. Nothing fancy. No woven cap this time, she was slowly not wearing them as time went on.

Her glasses remained as she came to order a beer and came to take a seat at a table for once instead of the bar. Her long hair luckily out her face. She was happy to see Thor, but also knew he had other friends here. She did wonder though if Peter would show up. She liked talking to him.

It was almost a crime how often Nat came to the lounge. But with so many people coming and going it was almost natural. Not to mention the personal issues she was dealing with. Getting over her past feelings for people took her time. But apparently, here she had to get over them fast.

She was selfish to think of herself when it came to that. So that was something Nat told herself this past week that she would never have and to stick with what she was good at like someone told her. They were right, this is what she knew. This is what she was trained for.

As she came to take that bottle of water, she would move towards that usual booth. Her red hair loose as usual, as she wore that black leather suit of hers. Gloves at her fist. She didn't need to wear it, but if Nat was going to do what she was good at, she wasn't going to show any other side to anyone else again. It's how she would handle things.

Which meant, that Natasha would revert back to the assassin, the spy. To the Black Widow.

Howard whistled as he breezed into the Lounge, tapping out the percussion parts of "Life Goes To A Party". It was one of his favorite songs, even if it was a decade old by his time and positively ancient by the current calendar year. But he had a lot to be happy about. He'd had a conversation, short as it was, with his son. Rogers was alive and well, as was Barnes. That was a huge surprise. And he'd been behaving himself around Mary. Mostly. He'd made plans with her, at least, and they didn't include activities of a carnal nature, so he was counting that as behaving. So, all in all, life aboard the Enterprise was pretty good.

Now all he needed was some solid time with his favorite British operative, to see how she was doing with everything, and life would truly be grand.

Peggy had made good on her promise to Lucifer and others that she'd try to spend more time in the lounge. Well, to spend more time relaxing rather than working so hard all of the time. But spending time in the lounge was a good way of proving she was doing so. When she arrived at the lounge that evening, she spotted Howard nearly immediately. How could she not? She was usually drawn to him - most people were.

She smiled as she walked up to him. "Howard Stark," Peggy said. "Now why am I not surprised to find you in here."

Ah, there she was. Just the woman he wanted to see.

Howard's grin split his face as he turned toward her. "Because you, Peggy, are even more intelligent than you are beautiful. And since you're a knock out, that's saying a lot."

Yeah, he was laying it on thick, but it was Peggy. She knew him, would know he wasn't serious about making a pass at her, and would give him hell for it. It was half the reason why they always got on like a house on fire.

Peggy was almost flattered. Almost. But she knew better. "What are you having to drink?" she asked him, motioning for one of the waitresses to come by to take her order. She asked for red wine, her usual, and then inclined her head for Howard to ask for his drink as well.

"I do hope you haven't been getting into any trouble since coming on board," she said, arching a challenging eyebrow. She hadn't heard anything yet about him getting into trouble, but that didn't mean he wasn't.

"Scotch." Because scotch was his evening drink. Bloody Marys was for breakfast, mimosas and champagne for brunch, belinis for dinner. Maybe it was silly, but it was something he could count on in his often chaotic world.

"Well, I haven't landed in the brig yet," he teased, settling into his seat comfortably. "And nothing's exploded. I suppose that means I'm behaving for the most part." He took a sip, nodding at her. "How've you been, Peg? Are you behaving?"

Peggy smiled and nodded as if to say, whatever Howard wants too, and the waitress walked away from them. She sat and leaned back, sliding an arm across the back of her seat and looking at him. "What on earth - or rather, in space, in this instance - could I possibly do that might be considered bad behavior?" she asked him.

Howard leveled his gaze at Peggy, his grin looking decidedly more 'shit-eating' by the second. "You might have everyone else on board fooled into thinking you're perfectly behaved all the time, but they don't know you like I know you." Between their adventures together during the war and the things they'd done together more recently, Howard had seen too much of the dignified woman throwing caution to the wind and punching her way out of situations to buy into the 'law-abiding citizen' thing.

And if he were completely honest, he loved that about her. He loved her spunk and her moxie and the way she threw a punch. He especially loved that she didn't put up with his guff. Too many people in his life had stopped calling him on his bad behavior and bad ideas since he had made his millions. Howard needed Peggy in his life, and he was damned happy to have her.

"Mmn," Peggy murmured, "and just how do you think you know me, Howard?" She accepted the wine as it was brought over to her, and she sipped it slowly. "Besides, it's different here. No messes to clean up, though now that you're here, maybe that's not the case at all. Are you planning to make any messes?"

"Well, I didn't mean Biblically." And he just wouldn't be Howard Stark if he let that opportunity pass him by. "But hey, if you ever wanted to change that..." He trusted Peggy to know he wasn't serious about that last bit. Well. Not seriously serious. She was a beautiful woman and he wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers, but he valued her for more than just a knock-out figure and a pretty face. He wouldn't risk his relationship with her for a tumble or two, and with the two of them, that would be all it would amount to. He was too him and she was too her.

"I can safely say that I don't plan on making messes, Peggy. Messes just like to happen to me."

A flush passed across Peggy's cheeks and she wished it away even though she knew it probably wouldn't go away any time soon. Honestly, if she and Phil hadn't just - She put up a hand. "We'll see," she told him, surprising herself even with what she had just said. She smirked at him from behind her wine glass and then laughed as he continued.

"Just happen to you," she repeated. "Yes, I'm sure that's exactly the way you see it."

... Wait. Wait a second.

Howard was a man who wasn't used to being anything other than quick witted, but Peggy's answer clearly threw him off for several seconds. It was the flush more than the words, as if she had a secret. Was she...?

No. No. Nope. Never. If he had done something and made Peggy Carter fall in love with him, his life as he knew it would be over. Because he was confident in all ways, including the knowledge that he would never survive a serious relationship with the woman in front of him. He loved her... Dearly. Like a sister, which was probably inappropriate considering how many times he'd imagined her naked over the years but still.

But then she smirked. And she laughed. And after one terrifying moment in which his life flashed before his eyes, Howard could breathe again. He pressed a hand to his heart, looking a little green around the gills.

"Jesus Christ, Carter, don't do that. You scared the shit out of me."

His reaction surprised her, and she couldn't keep the surprise off her face for a moment. Even her grip on the stem of her wine glass tightened momentarily. "Honestly, Howard, you're the one who brought it up, you don't have to look so completely repulsed by the idea that I might be interested." She arched an eyebrow and licked her lips. "Not that I am right now, Howard, so please relax. You look a little bit like you're going to be sick."

"Not repulsed," he clarified after taking a long drink. "No where close to repulsed because you're one of the beautiful women I've ever seen." It was important to him that she knew that his reaction had nothing to do with her and everything to do with him. "What you saw there was fear, Peg. Because I know that you would kick me from one end of the room to the other and I'd enjoy every second of it and probably beg for more."

He raised his glass toward the waitress, silently asking for another when she had a chance. "Besides, I've got a... thing. With someone. Maybe."

Howard Stark was afraid of her. Peggy didn't know if she needed to or ought to laugh at that, but it sure felt good. She didn't laugh about it, but she did smile to show how much she enjoyed hearing him say that. "I know you'd enjoy every second of it."

Peggy tipped her head to the side and considered him. "That was quick," she said, not in any judgmental tone or anything of the sort, just as a statement. "Who?" she asked before she could step herself. But then she cleared her throat lightly. "As it happens, so do I."

That smile went a long way toward making Howard feel more relaxed. It could have been the scotch, but he was choosing to think it was the smile.

The waitress brought Howard a fresh glass and as soon as she walked away, he leaned towards Peggy, smirk firmly back in place. "A real gentleman would demur... But I've been spending time with Mary Crawley." He paused and then corrected himself. "Lady Mary Crawley." Howard knew they were friends, but it felt important that he show the appropriate amount of respect toward Mary's title. "We're going to head down to the planet tomorrow and see what kind of trouble we can get into. Now... what about you? Who's caught your fancy?"

"With Mary?" Peggy asked, slightly surprised. She pursed her lips and nodded a little. "Well, that surprises me a little but at the same time it doesn't at all. She is, after all, near our own time period. I hope you won't lead her along. She was dating the captain for a while before he broke things off with her, and I know it upset her." She hoped Mary wouldn't mind her saying so, but she considered her a close friend and she didn't want to see her get hurt.

She shrugged. "I've been seeing Phil Coulson."

He wanted to be offended at the idea of leading a lady on, but he really couldn't. He'd done it more than once and he was well aware of that. In reality, he didn't know exactly where things were going with Mary. He knew that he enjoyed spending time with her... she was soft and warm but still strong in all the right places and far more refined than he could ever dream of being. And he was about to say so when Peggy casually dropped her little revelation.

"Coulson... He works with you, right? Isn't he old enough to be your father?"

Howard choked on his own drink, realizing what he'd said. "I mean, if you're happy, that's fantastic Peg, he's just not the kind of fella I imagined you'd be going with."

Peggy rolled her eyes. Visibly. And with feeling. "Honestly, Howard, you usually prefer women half your age. Couldn't one argue that you're old enough to be one of their fathers?" It wasn't entirely true but it could be, one day, true. She crossed her arms and looked at him. "I'll have you know that Phil was a part of an organization that you and I, apparently, one day found. He's probably exactly the sort of gentleman I might end up with in that case."

"Half my age would be illegal, Peg," he said, giving her a look. And Howard wasn't going to say that it had never happened, but when it had, he had been the one who was lied to, not the other way around.

"I'm sure he's a swell guy. He'd have to be, if we hire him." Because Howard had an idea about what she was referring to- about the organization. The concept of it was still being rolled around, but it was looking good. "I'm just saying there is a noticeable age difference. I'm not judging you on it, or him, but to say that I didn't notice would be a big damn lie."

He took another drink and cleared his throat. "Besides... I think we both know exactly who you end up with, Peg."

"When did something being illegal even stop you before," she quipped, though Peggy let him know she was teasing in this instance. Because even that would be a step too far for Howard, and she knew he wasn't a complete prat.

She finished her wine and set the glass aside. "Well, from my understanding or at least it's been implied, I'm gone by the time he's hired." That wasn't a surprise, given the difference in time and the years gapped between her time and Phil's. "And yes, I've noticed too, Howard, and it doesn't bother me."

She flushed and leveled her gaze at him. "I certainly hope you're not talking about you, Howard, because I know that's not true. I've had a chance to know Tony since I've been here."

Howard chuckled, shaking his head. "Peg, I love you but you're too much woman for me. And I am man enough to admit that I wouldn't survive a romantic relationship with you." That was probably the most truthful Howard had ever been in his life.

"Nah, I mean the agent with the leg." He paused, frowning. "Sousa? I think his name was Sousa."

She didn't admit that she'd considered it, with him, more than once. But she agreed with his assessment all the same. They would never have made it as a couple. Or as anything romantic at all.

A frown shadowed her face at the mention of Agent Sousa. "Daniel," she said with a light nod, her gaze drifting away. "Yes, well, he's not here," she said.
