Caitlin Snow ([info]killerfrostbite) wrote in [info]toboldlyrpg,
Frost took a sip of her wine and leaned forward, smiling at him. "Deal." She spun her wine glass on the bar, watching it for a moment before turning back to face him. "I returned to the exact moment I left, like I'd never gone. It was surreal, but didn't feel like something I needed to tell my friends about. Things were fine at first, my powers well and controlled. But STAR Labs was attacked and I was, um, sort of impaled during the attack. I don't recommend that, by the way. It looked like I was going to pull through, I'd stabilized, but then suddenly went into cardiac arrest."

She nervously rubbed at her hands and cleared her throat before continuing. "I told them all, Killer Frost wasn't an option. I'd rather die than become her. But they didn't listen. When I flatlined, one of my friends took my necklace off. I healed almost instantly and Killer Frost made a chilly debut, in all her white haired, blue lipped glory." Frost motioned to her body in case the visual was needed.

"I then spent the next few months in hiding as Killer Frost, thinking that was exactly what I wanted and who I had to be now. But it wasn't. After Savitar, the villain I'd sworn loyalty to, noted that I wasn't much of a killer if I didn't kill anything, and I started to slip. I was forced to work with my friends and realize I was still a scientist. In the end, what Savitar was offering wasn't worth it and I turned on him. I haven't gone back to my friends really, either. I left to just figure out exactly who I am. And then I ended up back here." She shrugged and took a long sip of wine. "Was that long enough?"
