Daniel nodded, it made a lot of sense and he agreed with everything that she was saying. It was unusual for him to meet someone like that. Well he supposed many linguistics were but he wasn't the most popular of people back home in his field of study. Suggesting that alien's constructed Egypt's pyramids... Well it had him labelled eccentric at best even if he turned out right in the long run. "That would make sense, languages are taught as identifiable patterns and rules that go together."
"I suppose it would be," he mused thinking about it. "It was only forty odd years for me since the start of the rush of inventions but even in my time a lot of things are rapidly changing. I can imagine it continued to do so. I think that he'd achieve it," he replied choosing his words carefully. He knew he did but he was basing it also on the information that they had access too here. "I can't imagine the ships being too different?" he asked frowning. Maybe comfier as they got used to it but surely they hadn't changed that much?
