There was a lot to be said for trying to get to know more of the people aboard, so Sam decided it couldn't hurt to show up to the Welcome event. She knew it happened every Saturday, but that didn't stop it from being a good chance to meet people. It was still really weird for her having a bar like this on a ship. She tried not to think about what some of their former enemies would think about this kind of ship, what kind of enemy earth would become because of it.
Shaking off all those feelings she found herself sitting at the bar with some kind of ale she'd never heard of before in front of her.
