"I do not," she said, looking at him seriously. "We are on a tin box hurtling through space. I would appreciate it if you didn't jeopardize the lives of everyone in board just to have a little fun." Her serious expression dropped quickly though, and she smiled again.
She tipped her head to the side, amused by his enthusiasm. It didn't surprise her at all. "I've had my engineering tour, yes," she said. "I'm not surprised at all that you're in love with it. I hope you won't disappear inside there all the time now that you're here." What a hypocritical thing for her to say, really, seeing as she spent most of her time hiding away in the traveler liaison office.
