Jim found himself fascinated with watching her talk. It didn't surprise him. Carol Marcus had fascinated him from the moment he met her. Now was certainly no different. He smiled, his lips quirking a little, and nodded. Off-handedly, he wondered why the decision was made to bring her to the Enterprise, but maybe this wasn't the best time to ask that question.
"I've found that a lot of things intended for good can be co-opted for destruction or weaponized. Maybe this project is just something that needs to be kept an eye on. We can talk to Admiral Pike about that too. I'm sure he'll want to be made aware."
