Jim thought that was an interesting task to put forth. He did wonder, however, in either situation, whether or not it would be in opposition to any of Starfleet's rules and regulations. Not that he cared that much for following the rules. Not to mention, if Starfleet put this project together, then it probably didn't matter at all in the end.
