Kathryn was happy to meet with Lieutenant. Reed. She was intrigued by the entire situation and the chance to meet him and his other crew-mates was amazing. They - along with her version of this Enterprise - had shaped so much of Starfleet and what it would become by the time she entered it.

"Yes, you must be Lieutenant Reed?" she asked though she easily reconigsed him, not only from the picture but from history but she wouldn't say anything. It was still odd being called Commander again but she supposed she would get used to it. She would have too.
