Mary nodded. Most of that, other than flight, had come along after her. Even still, she had little experience with flight. She had never been in an airplane back home.
"You mean like jazz music or Rudolph Valentino?" Mary asked, for once not feeling foolish for bringing either of those topics up. At least Tom had a way of making her feel more comfortable. "My brother-in-law was our chauffeur before he married my sister, so he's always loved cars."
Since her husband had died in one, Mary was a bit more reserved in her opinion.
