Thanks to the replicators, Mary was able to make herself a nightly drink, but she found that she enjoyed the gatherings that the crew had in Deck Five. It was a time to speak with people she hadn't seen in a bit. The ship was huge, and she found that she didn't see everyone every day. Fortunately the PADD could communicate with whomever she needed to.
Mary sat at the bar and ordered a new drink, or at least new to her - an appletini. It was sweeter than a regular martini and she found that she liked it. She had to admit that the bartender made better drinks than the replicator.
Tony was supposed to meet her that night, though in the meantime she looked around at the others in the lounge. Mary hoped that she might get to see the captain again. She had enjoyed her time speaking with Kirk last week. He was smarter and more cultured than he came off initially. She sipped her drink and continued to people watch.
