That was just something the captain, Mal, used to say. It was the secret to flying, he told me. Love tells you when she's hurting before the hurt starts, keeps her going on that last three miles of gas...

He was a romantic, I think, though he would glare at me if I said so. Luck sounds just as appropriate.

She's been my home since I was 16, but I'm not much older now.

	She fell apart a lot and sometimes even stranded us out in the black, I think maybe I treat her better than she treats us. I wonder if we'll ever stop missing them, our little homes. (Reply to this) (Parent)
