Panic Attacks - Elsa & OTA
She was trying. Really, she was. Anna would probably say something about how she needed to be more friendly, to smile more and to greet people. That was easy for her to say. Anna was naturally friendly and sociable and made to blend in with people. No one would ever say that about Elsa.
She didn't do crowds well, and there was a significant number of people there. Not coronation crowd worthy, but a great deal of them just the same. Despite her recent efforts at controlling her powers, she'd chosen to wear gloves to the gathering. She'd been so stressed the last couple of days since arriving and adding more people to it didn't seem in the best interest for testing her resolve.
Yet even under the gloves, she could feel the ice forming on her hands. The tightness in her chest, the waves gripping at her stomach. She shouldn't have come. People would get hurt, they wouldn't understand, she should stay away.
Rushing to the door of the lounge, she leaned against the wall just outside of it. She couldn't breathe. What she needed was fresh air and she knew she'd be getting none of that here.
