Sirius nodded without knowing why. He just wasn't sure what else he was meant to say or do with the knowledge that his best friend was suddenly seventeen years older than him. That was almost an entire other lifetime.

"What do you think the odds are that I'll wake up tomorrow and meet up with you at the meeting and tell you about this completely mental dream I had when we were in the future on a spaceship?"

He paused.

"We won the war, then?"
