The initial spark of concern when he realized how very icy this magic was faded out quickly - it was definitely not Jotun magic. He would know. He'd sensed that sort of magic before, as closely and personally as his own magic. This was something else entirely.
The young woman responsible for the frozen room seemed a bit... well, timid was perhaps a kind word for it. Her response at noticing his presence was to manifest a missile of ice as if instinctively trying to protect herself - and then to divert it and immediately apologize.
This was... very interesting.
Loki smiled slightly, shaking his head. "No need," he responded, tone as easy and soothing as possible, "My apologies for simply walking in. I sensed ...this," one hand rises to gesture broadly, encompassing the entire room, ending more focused on her, "-and I was curious. I should perhaps have knocked before entering. Forgive me."
Despite the apology, Loki made no move to leave the doorway.
