She'd spent so long afraid of the power within her that Elsa had all but neglected it for years. There was more she could do, she knew that now. She'd briefly mentioned to Caitlin that it was possinle to reverse the things she did. Still, it took effort. Practice. Things she truly needed to work on.
When Dorothy had been returned, she used their room to work on her powers. Snow and ice rarely bothered her and she kept the room several degrees colder than her former roommate might have liked. Now, though, she had a new presence in the room. Rather than risk the woman freezing to death due to a magic Elsa couldn't yet control, she had wandered the ship until she'd come upon what seemed to be an abandoned office. All of the science and technology had been pulled from it, the door opened easily for her, and no one had come in yet in the few times she'd used it.
While she didn't exactly keep her magic a secret, she wasn't running around discussing it, either. Some knew. Lomea, obviously. Caitlin did now, though who she had heard from, Elsa wasn't certain. But until it was more under her control, until her emotions didn't rule every single flake that fell from her fingers, she didn't feel entirely comfortable running about discussing it and doing magic at random.
Yet that didn't stop someone from entering the room unannounced as she froze the table that she assumed used to be someone's desk. "Oh!" The word was more a little gasp as she turned in surprise. That surprise cause a shard of ice, which she forced towards the wall rather than the unsuspecting victim she nearly made contact with. "I'm sorry, I'll leave, I didn't know..." And now she was stammering. What sort of queen stammered at someone else's entrance?
