"I'm not surprised by that, there seem to be a few select universes where people are getting pulled from. Actually, that might be worth looking into," He thought a moment, then shook his head before glancing towards her with a smile.

"Yes, well sort of. The galaxy I know, this is the Milky Way galaxy, and that's the galaxy my planet is from. In fact, Earth, my world, is the homebase of the Federation, which this ship hails from. But I'm from a different... reality. You know about alternate realities? Not sure where the science with stuff like that is from your Universe, but The Federation and the Enterprise don't exist in my reality."

He looked down at the device, reaching forward to take it, "You mean how to communicate with it? Because that's... essentially what it's for. Like a... datapad, maybe? It stores information, but it also acts like a comlink, in the sense that you can use it to communicate with other like devices. It's not really voice-related though, text based. So type and submit on ..." He moved a menu over, "This network, and bam. You're talking to everyone."
