SUMMARY: Jyn is still adjusting.

Take a deep breathe, and exhale slowly. It's what Jyn repeated to herself. Repeatedly since arriving on this ship and now being on this unknown station. Each planet they came across or that she studied she knew nothing of. All she was aware of is what Leia and Han had informed her. Her mission had succeeded. The death star was destroyed, and despite another being created that too was destroyed. That alone brought her some comfort. But only some. Jyn was still brought to a world and time she knew nothing of. With no one she knew.

Everyone from Scarif had died. People she didn't know at the beginning but in the end called her friends. As she stood within the garden, she stared out into space. The vast stars all around shinned, and the smell of flowers filled her sense. How she wished her friends could be here to witness this. To know that their death wasn't for nothing. Her hand came to grip at the crystal around her neck for the moment. A deep sigh escaped her parted lips.

This place was strange, but it was a second chance. A chance she wasn't sure why she deserved and not the others.

Peter had a tablet, that's essentially what it was in his mind, so that's what he called it. It had a more Star Trekky and science fictiony name to it, but frankly as far as he was concerned it was a tablet. His fingers were dancing over it as he stepped through the doors into the garden, getting used to the fact that door just opened up for him at times.

He was checking on some of the plants, running a scan over them as he toyed around with the tech. A man of biology, seeing plants not of Earth was definitely fascinating. Kneeling in front of one in particular, he checked the information on it, then the leaf, making sure the color was right, then stood and turned, spotting Jyn Erso in the distance, staring out into space. He clicked off his tablet, and lowered it to his side, before making his way towards her.

Looking out into space, "Beautiful or lonely? Space... I mean. How do you see it?"

Was he talking to her? He had to be, because no one else was around. When asked about how she viewed pace she would exhale deeply. "Empty." She replied as she brushed a few strands from her face and came to look to the one beside her. She hadn't meet him before. Than again, Jyn wasn't going out meeting people either. She was still adjusting to being alive again. Alive and alone, again like before.

"I'm Jyn Erso." she replied as she looked to Peters direction. Eyes coming to look at the flowers all around her. She'd never seen any like these. Her hand would come tot ouch at her necklace just to feel that crystal. Already she placed it back under her shirt.

Peter blinked and smiled, nodding his head with a bit of a shrug, "I suppose, you must be a space is half-empty kind of girl. Fact is, it's filled to the brim, some of it you can't see, but dark energy, dark matter, all of that... it's surrounding us, touching us, so on and so forth..." He frowned, realizing he was taking what she said too literally and shook his head, "Sorry. Scientist in me."

He looked out at the vast field of space and then back towards her, "Peter Parker," He offered his hand to her in a shake, "I'm from the planet Earth, Milky Way Galaxy, year was 2017 when I left. All of that might mean very little to you."

Smiling, he noted her crystal being tucked away but said nothing about it; that was private business, not his, and then just let his eyes move back up towards hers, "So what's got your mind seeing so much emptiness?"

	"I suppose I am from 0 BBY" She replied. "It was he year I died." She added as she looked to him for the moment. "I'm left alone once again. This time, i have no one to turn to." She stated lightly as she heard him mention where he was from. "I've never heard of that place, or those years." She stated a bit confused as to where all these people had come from. "Well, if it helps, I have no idea what that year means either," Peter offered with a chuckle, but then frowned, "You died? That... can't be easy to know, especially in a strange place with strange faces around you."

He watched her a moment, "Well you may not know many of us, if any of us, but I'm always open to being an ear to talk to. You don't know me, so I understand if you're not interested in doing so, but I know it's never easy being in a place you're not very well known, or with people you don't know."

"There are a few others that seem to know of me and what me and my friends did. They seem to be from my world but I don't know them." She replied lightly as she came to exhale. "Still, thank you for the offer." She added as she came to look back out into space.

"Is this galaxy familiar to you?" She asked wondering as she held out that device. "Or how this works. I can't seem to understand its mechanics."

"I'm not surprised by that, there seem to be a few select universes where people are getting pulled from. Actually, that might be worth looking into," He thought a moment, then shook his head before glancing towards her with a smile.

"Yes, well sort of. The galaxy I know, this is the Milky Way galaxy, and that's the galaxy my planet is from. In fact, Earth, my world, is the homebase of the Federation, which this ship hails from. But I'm from a different... reality. You know about alternate realities? Not sure where the science with stuff like that is from your Universe, but The Federation and the Enterprise don't exist in my reality."

He looked down at the device, reaching forward to take it, "You mean how to communicate with it? Because that's... essentially what it's for. Like a... datapad, maybe? It stores information, but it also acts like a comlink, in the sense that you can use it to communicate with other like devices. It's not really voice-related though, text based. So type and submit on ..." He moved a menu over, "This network, and bam. You're talking to everyone."

When he started explaining about the device, Jyn looked and made sure to pay attention. "Ah, I see." She replied lightly as she came to exhale and take that device back from him. "Thank you Peter." She said lightly. Only to think about his questions.

"I know nothing about alternate realities. Where i am from we have the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance." She stated watching him slightly. "Is it something like that? I hope not, I don't think I can take another Death Star being built."

"Not a problem, and alternate realities are super confusing, and I'd probably know less about them if it weren't part of my field of study, and the fact that I've had to deal with them a few too many times..." Peter nodded about the Empire and the Rebels, something he knew of course, but had made it a prime directive for himself, yes he called it a prime directive, to not let people in on the facts he knew about.

"I think so. The Federation is a collective alliance of peace seeking planets and civilizations. There are other Empires out there, who sometimes war with the Federation, but not sure if any... Death Stars have been built."

He then frowned, "As for me, my planet is still divided into nations and fights like that are on a much smaller scale. There are empires as well, like the Kree and the Skrull, plus places like Asgard and what not. But they don't really fight Earth in general, as Earth isn't really... a 'whole unit' quite yet."

"I've never heard of any of those places." She replied with a deep frustrated sigh at this point. "I'm beginning to think I was better off death." She stated more likely to herself, but instead said it out loud. Her thoughts spoken for Peter to hear how she truly felt. "I'm sorry, it's hard to see the bright side of a second life, when you are alone in a strange world or time."
