Han felt kind of helpless, really. He wanted to badly to comfort her, to help her through this, but he didn't know how. He was never good at handling grief, though he didn't know yet, show up in a few years when Chewie died.

"I feel so helpless...I mean, there's nothing I can say, nothing I can do. I want so much to do *something*, but I don't know what. It's so unfair...my family and I seem to come through things intact, and things go all to kriff for you."
