WHO: Lomea and Elsa
WHEN: 226403.27
WHERE: Elsa's Quarters
SUMMARY: Checking on the Ice Queen
WARNINGS: In Progress, unknown

After leaving her and Harley's quarters, Lomea swung by the galley and lounge, thinking food and drink might do Elsa some good. It was strange, not wearing her robes. But they felt... formal. Like they belonged in another place and another time. One of the crew had helped her select a new wardrobe. They'd been very helpful and really knew their dresses. She wished she could figure out what species they'd been.

Though this was still Lomea, and even a casual dress was a little more formal than most. Her titles might be meaningless here, but they still meant something to her. Darth Imperius wasn't dead yet.

She pressed the chime on the door, and idly spun a bottle in the air, watching the liquid slosh around.

She took a sniff of the golden liquid before tasting it. It was nothing like the mead she had occasionally had back home, or the wine served at her coronation. It wasn't terrible, though. A bit strong for her taste and she likely wouldn't order it in the lounge, but it was nice enough. "I tried a drink in Yorktown. It had bubbles in it. The server said they could put bubbles in any drink but I don't know that I would recommend this." Why she just spilled words in front of Lomea, she wasn't sure.

"Mostly homesick," she admitted, looking down into her glass. "My sister and I... We'd been separated. For a long time." Yes, it was a self-inflicted separation but the woman didn't need to know that. "I had only just gotten her back." After she'd nearly died. But that was another story she didn't much feel like telling. Since that had been Elsa's fault. "And I'm worried about my kingdom. Anna can handle it, I know, but she's young, she's flighty. I don't know." Not that Elsa herself was exactly old and wise.

"I'm not sure this drink would be any good with bubbles." Lomea glanced at her glass. It was a strong drink. Somehow, bubbles seemed inappropriate. She returned her attention to Elsa. Separated was an interesting choice of words, but she didn't press her on that.

"You regret that time you might have had with her has been stolen from you." Less of a question and more of a statement. She leaned over, putting her hand over Elsa's. "You do not look that old yourself."

She wasn't very old, that was true. Only just old enough to be coronated. "I'm twenty-one," she admitted quietly. "And I barely saw my sister for thirteen years." Or not at all. But that was a part of her history she didn't entirely want to get into just yet. Maybe ever. Lomea accepted her and her powers. No reason to tell her just how badly it all could go.

"I just miss her, that's all. She helps me...with all this. You know." Controlling her powers. But that was one of those things she didn't really want to talk about. At least not out loud. Then again, sometimes she thought the woman could actually read her mind.

"I see." There was a story there, but Lomea could be patient. Some tales could not be forced. There were details of Lomea's past that would take a little more drink to tell, as well. Even if she did have the strangest urge to open up about exactly where she came from.

"Your sister is like a focus? She helps you find balance?" If that was the case, Elsa would need to find a way to balance herself without her sister. Lomea knew that was easier said than done.

"Something like that," Elsa replied with a little shrug. She'd never really thought about it, but it was a rather accurate description, she supposed. All the years she'd had no control over her own abilities, she'd been separated from Anna. On getting her sister back into her life, she'd finally truly begun to gain control over the biggest portion of all.

And now they were separated all over again. And, true to fashion, Elsa was having a bit of trouble. Nothing like she had as a child. A stint living and thriving in the mountains, as short as it may have been, had helped her immensely. But it wasn't the same. It was proving much harder to undo her work than to do it. "She accepts what I am. What I can do. She never judges me."

"Such people are rare, even for those who are less gifted. Accepting who someone is, what they are, seems to be harder than it should be. Fear can be powerful, my dear." After all, most people feared the unknown, and the powerful. But fear could be used. And Lomea preferred to use the things that would otherwise control her. "The question is whether to let it consume you, or fuel you."

She put her hand over Elsa's again and squeezed. "I do not judge you either. You should not judge yourself."
