Daniel had settled into a fairly decent routine on the Enterprise. He missed his friends from home but there were plenty of people here who were fascinating and he was enjoying to get to know. It wasn't too bad. He did sometimes wish he was back home though. Still, it wasn't a bad situation and he made the most of it. While there was no one he would call a friend, there were people he was friendly with and had the possibility of becoming friends with, if he made the effort. The problem was he spent so much time working there was little else for other stuff.

Still, he did the best that he could.

Making his way to the lounge, he spotted a familiar face. "Hi Lara, you busy?" he asked as he approached her. Lara was one of those people he could probably call a friend if he gave it the opportunity to become so. He had enjoyed their conversations so far both in person and on the network it hadn't - at least in his opinion - gone past friendly acquaintances.

	"I'm mostly just trying to learn languages at the moment. I want to explore cultures too but I thought that once I had the languages down then it would be easier to focus on the culture. I've picked up a few extra since then. Andorian, Vulcan and Romulan were the first ones. I already spoke Klingon," he admitted. "You discovered anything?" (Reply to this) (Parent)
