"Take it up with the rupture in space," Gaby suggested with a small smile. She would rather they be on the same page as well, though she was grateful for her foreknowledge. She knew he must find it maddening.
She cocked her head to the side, pondering whether or not to be tight-lipped about the future. She had heard differing opinions from others on whether or not they would remember anything if and when they were returned to their time. She decided to throw caution to the wind. "A rendezvous," she replied coyly, knowing how suggestive that might sound. She paused before adding, "Mission-related, of course," in order to make it clear that their relationship had not veered into any previously uncharted territories.
