With Gaby's appearance on the ship, it only served to confuse him greatly. He wasn't sure what he felt for Gaby, and being here and being with Rogue had meant that he did not have to think about it. Now, confusion was starting to set in. Perhaps it was not confusion so much as it was conflict. Gaby was one of his partners. He was not supposed to have any feelings towards her. They had become close during the Vinciguerra mission though and he had a great deal of respect for her. Had he stayed longer, instead of waking up on the Enterprise, he might have given in to his feelings for her. Since Gaby was from further ahead in time than he was, Illya wondered if he ever had.
