Studying wasn't so bad Date & Time: September 11, 1998 Post Type: RP Open To: Private Character(s): Hannah Abbott, Ernie MacMillian Location: Study Hall, Braeburn. Summary: Revision isn't Hannah's favorite, but with Ernie, it's tolerable.
Hannah glanced over her shoulder, gently pushing her hair away from the side of her face as she stole another peek at Ernie. While his recovery had been an overall success thus far, he was still suffering many of the expected consequences of being in a coma for a good deal of time. Ernie wasn't the type to show his frustration with any given thing, but she heard him muttering to himself as he worked.
Ernie was so smart, so good at things, that Hannah wanted nothing more than to see him succeed. She had to be careful, though, as she knew she could easily fall into the trap of caring only about how he was doing, and not much about herself. With everything that had happened, it was easy to focus on someone else rather than deal with her own situation. But really, she didn't want to be the girl who wasn't independent or whatever. She just wanted Ernie to be happy after everything, and to have her one piece of family left to be thriving.
"How's it going," she asked after another moment of watching. She wasn't trying to hover, really. Well, it was more like she was trying to pretend she wasn't hovering.
