Hannah spun around as her name was called, toppling over in the process. Of course, she'd try to turn around while propped on her knees. Righting herself, she smiled tentatively at Neville. "Hey."
She stood and brushed the dirt from her shorts. Hannah smiled, feeling her stomach settle at the sight of Neville. He'd been so strong the last year, so skilled in keeping everyone safe. If it hadn't been for him and Ginny, Hannah didn't know if any of them would still be alive. It was wonderful to feel happy, even for just a moment. Ernie was in her mind, but seeing Neville made her remember she wasn't defined by her best friend, or by her house.
