Alex was thankful for his naturally rosy complexion as he ridiculously felt like he'd slayed a dragon for all of Victoria's excitement over something so simple. He felt the heat rise in his cheeks as she took the cookies and the mug.
"A goose?" He looked at her a puzzled a moment and then laughed. "You try walking through there in a tee shirt and shorts and see how warm you are," he grinned and shook his head, his hair falling a bit in his eyes. He popped open his bottle of butterbeer after putting the other items on the counter and poured some into the frosty glass. He took a long drink, closing his eyes and smiled. "Mmm," he sighed happily.
"I got some ice cream." He held up the tins. "You want some? If you're going for the splurge, might as well go all out," he teased.
