Bill rolled back, his arms going around her as she moved partly on top of him. He hmmmed in his chest in contentment. "Well, I'm relieved to hear that, or else they'd scare you away," he said, half joking and half serious. His fingers traced down her back again, idly stroking. "I really do think we can make this work," he said seriously. "I know it won't be easy... or always smooth... but I do think it can be done."
He had faith that they could figure it out. Talk about it. Talking was so easy with her. "I have the kids every other week, and the occasional day here and there when needed, and vice versa." He and Fleur tried very hard to be good with the children. "And I'm home almost every night." He didn't want to scare her off, by far, but he couldn't lie about things or omit them either.
