Hey Ya'll!
It's Nikki here. And I have a few points of possible interest.
First off, let me start by saying that I love TJS and have no intention of leaving the game or even pulling any of my current characters that have SLs going on with you folks. I love all my SLs that I have here and I fully intend to keep them. And now here comes the but...
I recently got in contact with one of my old RP friends and we were talking about a game that we were in together (where Rez used to be housed along with a few other folks) and how much we missed it. And while she could possibly bring her characters here (which we did toy around with that idea for a bit and even did a few test scenes), we decided against it because the chemistry just wasn't the same. So instead we decided to make a NEW game where we could revive some of our old characters and where I could play around with some AU versions of characters I currently have here just because I think an AU version of a few of these folks could be fun.
The game is a strictly human game, no supernaturals at all. And it's set in the future, the year 2015, in an insane asylum located on a remote island in Maine. To give you a bit of the premise, there has been a resurgence in the use of asylums and some of their more barbaric methods thanks to recent acts of violence and terrorism that have the country afraid of the crazies. So it may be a little dark and it may be a little out there, but it's a great opportunity to have your characters be as crazy, twisted, and out there as you want them to be.
So, I would like to invite you all to have a look and if it's something you are interested in, feel free to join! The more the merrier! We are in need of both patients and staff. And if you'd like to just toss an AU version of one of your TJS characters in there to see what happens, you can feel free to do that too. You can find all the pertinent information on the Midian Asylum Profile. I hope to see you all there (and here too cuz, you know, I love you guys)!
<3 Nikki
EDIT: Since it's been a while since I posted this, here is a download link for the icon uploader. This thing is a lifesaver. It's a simple DOS program that allows you to upload multiple icons to a journal at a time. All you do is place the four files into the folder with the images, open the UPL.BAT file, and then it will prompt you for your username and password. This has been formatted to work for GJ journals only. You can download it here. If you have questions or any trouble using it, let me know.
