Terence's parents' house had a brass-trimmed mail slot in the front door that was rarely used. This evening, however, when Terence arrived home from work it was to find the white rectangle of an envelope on the floor just inside the door. He picked it up and stared at the Muggle postage stamp, bemused. He was about to banish the thing with a flick of his wand when the image of Tracey Davis flitted into his mind, obligingly clad in a tutu. The letter was addressed to the Tip Tap Toe Dance Academy. Perhaps he should be a good neighbor and deliver the misdirected mail.
Less than half an hour later Terence was following the sounds of piping children's voices down a hallway and into a studio. With a wicked grin he discarded his cloak in a heap on the floor and took his place at the end of a line of little girls in black leotards and pink tights. Terence turned out his toes in imitation of the little ballerinas, putting a finger to his lips in a plea for silence when one of the moppets turned to look at him curiously.
