Filtered from natives.
So, that happened. It really is 1832.

Thoughts? I'm not completely against helping them if it gets us out of here. What do we know about this time? We need all the information together.

My name's Grant Ward. I'm a Black Ops specialist back home. So figuring out who we have and what we can all bring to the table, it's our best way forward here.

I can feel something wrong, my chakra control is weaker, but I am still able to create a simple Jutsu useful for scouting. It's a mobile eye made of sand that connects to my optic nerve. I've currently taken to a rooftop to practice control before I send it into the city. This place is fascinating.

Indeed, but the step for change can not happen without a voice to guide them. We will do what we can to help.

You're gifted?

Oh he's definitely that. I'm guessing the people are too scared. It's not an easy part of history

I am shinobi. We are all gifted in some way. We are born with an inner energy called chakra.

I do not know this history. However, war and strife has always been apart of shinobi culture, where peace is only be meaningful for those willing to step forward to achieve that goal.

And what does it let you do?

That's okay. A few of us probably know the basics. And he seems speechy. He'll explain to you at length if you ask him.

Do you think he's right? I mean, leading a rebellion. People will die. There's no way past that. We were only asked to save him and his friends but they won't be the only barricade in Paris that night.

The list is extensive. We'll leave it at that. You said you are black ops? What skill do you possess? The ANBU black ops is a shinobi task force for hunting down and disposing of missing/rouge-ninja.

I would be grateful for the information.

People will die under oppression and control, they have died of starvation and disease that lead them to this point. If those who can break the cycle for a more promising future for the next generation.

Expert Sniper, various forms of combat, explosives, espionage, I've been undercover for a very long time. I'll find a way to make myself useful here, don't worry.

And what if their deaths are what change the cycle? Martyrs are dangerous. More than anything else a lot of the time.

Impressive. I was not worried. The ANBU Black Ops is an elite division, I figured it was something similar.

I see your view. But to sit and do nothing? To allow things to remain as they are? How many will die this way, having not known freedom? There is a cause in what they are doing for a brighter future.

All we can do is what is asked of us.

Probably. We tend to run on a theme.

I don't plan to sit and do nothing I just mean we need to think this through. We don't go into this without a plan. These are untrained students for the most part. They're running on idealism and a charismatic leader and history tells us that's not always enough.

It would appear.

I have gathered more intel, and done some research on what has happened here so I do have a clearer scope of what is going on and I understand your point better now. Though, I am still convinced, even if they are idealistic students, they still wish for change for a free future and I do not fault his passion for it.

I have drawn a map of the area if you are in need of it. Please use it as a reference if you venture out.
