I hate this place and I just know going back home would not made a difference. Hell, I would probably be dead already if I hadn't arrived here. This shithole is the lesser of two evils!

Fuck this. I'm hitting the taverns.

You don't have to convince me of the lesser of two evils issue. The place I'm from regularly tries to kill me and my friends (sometimes succeeds, too).

Taverns and gin joints are the way forward here, even if my liver might start to disagree some day soon.

Your place sounds bad. Tell me at least there are some nice boutiques?

Good thing about having powers - your liver is bound to recover... hopefully. I'm not sure how well my powers work here.

I'm Cindy, by the way.

I know we don't know each other, but if you want to share a bottle of wine or something then just let me know. I have had many interesting residences in my time and this place is not the worst.

Just be careful what your drinking.

I would love to hear about some of those places. Maybe on a day I don't feel like hell on a pogo stick?

Just cheap wine and despair. The breakfast of champions like us.

It would be my pleasure, but yes when your feeling slightly less melancholy.

Never been referred to as a champion but I approve of the wine.

I've been called many things. Champion is something I've called myself. No use being modest when something is true.

Hopefully this mood will go away. And I'll need a lot more wine then.

I've been called a lot of things by people, some I would not repeat here without a context. I've studied Archeology and seen a few things in my time. I don't tend to hand around in one place for too long.

Another bottle of wine is it? Red, White or Rose?

All of them. But I'm craving red right now.

Sounds like you've had quite the life. I can relate to the wandering.

Red is defiantly my go to. I have a nice bottle that was given to me a couple of weeks ago.

I've been around it's true. But it's always the little things that make places feel like home, for a while at least.

And if there is one good thing the French excel at, it's the wine.

Funny, I was this close to going back home in my own world, but looking back, I'm not sure it would have been a good idea.

One of the good things about this place that I have learned to appreciate. Over and over.

I think various people are suffering a little by being here. I'm glad your feeling better.

I have no idea what I'd be going back to. Other than the end of the world, really.

That seems to be a running trend around here.

Need someone to drink with, rant at or stab repeatedly again?

If there is anything I can do to help distract you from this place just let me know, hopefully we won't be stuck here that much longer.

Please do. I could use something to get me out of this mood. Stabbing sounds fun but I'll settle for more drinking.

A Lady should never have to settle, how about drinking then fighting, or anything else that might pass the time, maybe we could practise shooting this time.

Aw, shooting would be fun as long as no one hears it and complains. People can be sensitive about shots.

Yer may have to find a secluded spot, or set up a location with sound proofing, must be some way we can get some training in, might have to take a short ride out of the city.

The countryside is lovely this time of the year. Or maybe there're a cellar around. Maybe one with wine.

I'm afraid we would have to do shooting practise outside, this time doesn't really do smokeless ammunition, so although I could rig up sound dampening breathing might become an issue a little too quickly.

That said i'm sure we could find other things to do in a cellar full of wine so how about we do that afterwards to unwind.

Breathing issues do put a damper on the whole thing.

That sounds delicious.

I'll come and collect you, I've arranged horses for a ride out somewhere secluded.

And have an idea where we can acquire access to enjoy a wine cellar for when we make it back.
