My everything hurts, still. I thought training was tough but what happened the other night, now that was tough. At least the ringing in my ears has stopped now.

I know nothing really happened but it could have been very different. I don't think I've ever been more thankful for multiple layers before. Maybe I'm just making something out of nothing but I can't help but wonder what could have happened.

You know it's okay to be scared don't you?

A lot could have happened, that kid got there at the right moment. So don't ever think you're not allowed to be worried about what happened, you're not making something out of nothing

I know but I haven't been scared like this in... well for a really long time.

I'm worried that if I start thinking about it too much I'll end up terrified to leave the room. Do you... do you think there was a chance it could have gone that way? If he hadn't have come along when he did?

I promised never to lie to you. So, yes. There was a chance. But that's why we're training.

The world isn't a good place, we both know that. We both had a hell of an education there. But you'll learn to defend yourself. You're already doing well.
