Probably has no point other than to take them away from the issues we're trying to solve, and make them go crazy with boredom while stuck doing nothing.

Yeah, we have quite a few back on R&R, but those are the only ones I know about.
This whole ordeal was built into a bigger deal because of fear and the fact that teenagers were the ones doing most of the accusing. Makes it harder to get a town to turn on their teenagers, especially by outsiders. There is always talking to the ones accusing, get them to slip up, and scare them a bit into coming clean; however, that could backfire.
As for getting them out of the jail, once again we put everyone at risk since we are stuck here and it will put a target on our backs, resulting in more of ours ending up in jail. Along with the fact, we may come back after a few days, but if we cause more from this time to be arrested, they don't come back. At the same time, people accused were tortured to see if they were witches and put through tests, making it not great to have our people stuck. I can always go and see how the people are doing, maybe use that to decide the route we should go.
