My magic is not responding as it once did. I'm capable of only the most minute things, and not at all the things I could once do. As I am also feeling not as strong as I used to, and as this is a world where I do not think I shall be looked on kindly I am concerned.

I am looking in a way to overcome this. I will not be left defenseless.

	So we're to be within a world where we cannot defend ourselves, in a place that's highly suspicious of it's own people let alone strangers and just go in there and tell them we're here to sort things out and not even have whatever magic we do have when things inevitably go bad? I'm not even capable of the things I could do when I was a child. And I'm still part demon. High Heavens only knows what they'll do if they should figure that part out.

But I shall keep re learning to quarters or the gardens. Theoretically, losing access to what I am is a bit odd in a fascinating way because the how and the why is something I'd enjoy finding out if there weren't a bunch of people ready to harm me for my efforts.

You're very kind. Still I wish either Lyndon or Kormac were here. Kormac wouldn't have his powers either, but at least it's harder to argue with a rather big shield in one's face.

It is a long story, often made short by knowing that in my world what I am is the result of our angels and demons having children. All the humans of my world have traces of demon blood in them, mine is just a bit more then usual. There's more to it, but that is where the long story comes in.

Once this is over we should have a long conversation about your world; it sounds like your origins are quite different to what I'm used to. Is it the demon blood that gives you your magic? ~~I bet it is. It probably is, right? Everything always comes back to blood~~ But anyway, point is, the specifics of our situations may be different but they're close enough that I get it. I'm not in any hurry to broadcast what I'm harbouring to the natives either.

	I am happy to share, but it is not exactly pleasant. And it is possible that my mixed blood has something to do with how early, and how powerfully, my magic manifested. If so, then whoever did give birth to me made the best decision in leaving me with the mage clans. And it is probably best to lay low. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Like others have said, sometimes in places like this, abilities of certain people whether it's magic or another type may not work as well. I can't pretend like I know what that's like, but probably makes it a little easier to hide what you can do around here. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Normally, I would agree with that stance, but I believe sometimes it's best to hide parts of you, especially when it can bring danger to you. Based on what others have been saying, you don't want to end up killed because these people don't exactly do well with people who are different. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It's the only reason I'm even saying the whole hiding thing because if what people are saying about this time is true, then I don't want your life or anyone else to be in danger cause you're different than them. I only know what others have said and what the file said, which wasn't much, but hearing what others had to say gave me a little more insight to this place. All I know is they don't deal well with witchcraft or what they classify as witchcraft, but anything dealings with the devil. They had people a little younger than me who were the ones accusing individuals of being evil, resulting in them being punished.

Yes, if you can still do that without magic, then it's best to do that away from where they can see.

	Has nothing to do with kindness, more about wanting to know people can protect themselves in close contact. Can't always have a sword on you or get the distance for a bow, which is why I offered. 	I think I can pencil you in between my spa days and my other stuff. Seriously though, I have time whenever because not really anything to do here and not really into drawing attention to myself. The garden could work, gives us the space needed to work on different moves that could help you until you get your abilities back and just around here in general. (Reply to this) (Parent)
