In his world, he was a mutant. He had his speed from birth. And, not by experiments with powerful artifacts.

The Avengers do not exist in his world. But the X-Men do. Or will. Timelines are complicated.

There are other worlds where both the Avengers and X-Men exist. You are both mutants in those worlds.

You'd be surprised. There are many ways to train, some kind, many cruel. I learned through the cruelty of others.

It's important to understand that there are many who would seek to hurt those who they see as different. I believe firmly that humanity, individuals anyway are good and kind and willing to see past the differences. Humanity as a whole are scared of what they do not understand. Mob rule takes over and mistakes are made. People die. It happened in my childhood when one man brought Europe to war though ego, insanity and a willing audience.
