I was hoping to change his mind, but yeah, doesn't seem to have worked considering I saw his statement. He's planning to make Corellia not an issue anymore and he doesn't exactly care if people from the Agency are over there or not. Told him they are trying to help people, feeling they should since they were dropped on that side for a reason; however, he doesn't care cause he feels they are betraying him. For some reason, he feels he has to make the move because some people think he can be outsmarted? Not really sure where he got that, but yeah.

I saw his post. I'm going to set up a time to go meet him. He's feeling backed into a corner, probably. Like - he doesn't see a way out without losing his pride. Maybe. At least, that's what it feels like with Corellia.

I might have found something that will help me, but regardless I've got to try to help get him to see reason.

Anything you've found out that might help me pull him back?

Could be, but he's also feeling betrayed by close to everyone and I think that's putting him more on edge. He's seeming a bit paranoid, but unable to trust people and feeling betrayed are his two things he keeps feeling.

You need to work quickly cause if not, then something has to be done to prevent what he wants to do.

I think the best way for you to work on pulling him from the edge is being there as a brother. Don't let him cross that line, but talk to him as a friend. You have to get him to believe you trust him and won't betray him cause that's his biggest problems with people from what he keeps saying. If it helps earn the trust and like you're on his side that he'll listen, then throw me under the bus.

It makes sense, he kept pressing a dozen times when I spoke with him earlier about whether or not I trusted him. It's frustrating because I feel like if anyone is not being trustworthy here - it's him. He's not talking to anyone, he's keeping secrets, he's shooting first and asking questions after... But... I'll keep it in mind.

Despite all of that though, I trust in who he can be, I do. I believe he can choose the right here. But we'll see how it goes.

And, lesson about me, I don't usually throw my friends under the bus, for any reason. I appreciate everything you've done to try to help Jace.

He keeps bringing up about betrayal and trust with me, which is why those seems to be the two things to focus on with him. Oh trust me, I know what you mean. I may not be winning the 'trust me' award, but no way in hell is he winning it either. He's being very careful on what he says; however, he's expecting everyone to give over information to him without him saying anything. I've had to watch how I word my questions just to get some answers out of him.

It's seeming more and more if you don't agree with him, you're against him. If you don't sit back and go along with his plans, you're against him. Pretty much most are going to be against him, which is what he wants so he can do what he wants.

I want to have hope that he can choose the right path, but you need to also be ready because he may continue with the path he's on.

That's good to know, but I'm telling you if you need to, then do it. No hard feelings cause I said you can. He's probably going to assume I talked anyways and he went on about how it would have consequences, which I'll deal with if it happens. Hey, it's fine. He's a good guy before all this, which is why I've been trying to help.
