Walden apparated to the house, pulled back the hood on his jacket, and made his way inside. He'd taken some time before coming over to try and focus his mind, not wanting any stray thoughts to accidentally betray him.
It was times like this that he was thankful he'd had some occlumency training back during the first war, in order to keep from being discovered. Granted, he was no where near the level of Snape. But it was enough to keep himself grounded and centered mentally, which had saved him numerous times from being discovered by the Aurors back when he'd worked at the Ministry.
