"Recovery." Embyr nodded, pretending that she knew what that meant, and then waited until he was occupied to start a sweep of the store. 'Out of place' was a relative phrase for Embyr; cleanliness was not one of her virtues. By the time she'd made it back to where she'd started, the most she actually had done was picked up a few crumbs from where they had shared their meal. Perhaps there was more to do, but Em had no idea!
As she waited for Anthony to return from wherever he was keeping the shoppe's cash, Em took a seat on the counter next to the register, crossing her legs at the ankles and working to calm herself down.
She hadn't done anything with someone her age... alone... since her time at Hogwarts. Spending time with Anthony had always been about learning and improving her skills. What would it be like, now that school wasn't a part of their repertoire? There was an excitement there that she hadn't quite been expecting, and she tried to suppress it by focusing on her breathing, rather than getting drunk with an old mate.
