"Oh, no. Of course not," Anthony immediately stated, meeting Embyr's eyes briefly before returning to picking at his sandwich with his fingers. "She just shouldn't have to stay in my seedy flat all day. It isn't fair for her to only eat peanut butter, as well. She deserves better than that. So I've saved up a little for her to be able to eat out a few times, and maybe catch a film. I don't want her to avoid seeing me because there is nothing to do, you know?"
The problem was that he knew his sister, and she'd stay with him even if she was bored out of her mind and depressed. He didn't want to do that to her. So if it meant he got to eat less for a few weeks, then he'd do it. It wasn't like he was literally starving.
