Embyr recognized that Anthony didn't see the truth in what she'd said. It didn't matter to her; she hadn't said it just to please him. Perhaps it was because Anthony had strived to help her out, as a young and unpracticed witch, but she knew he was capable of whatever he put effort into. Anthony was driven, and eventually things would work out.
"I'm not worried," she replied honestly, nearing the end of her sandwich. She really ought to eat slower if she wanted to spend a little more time in the company of someone who wasn't her television. "You save money to do things with Candice?" Her eyebrows rose up; Embyr wasn't very excellent at saving money, herself, but if she were to do so... it probably wouldn't go towards leisure activities.
"Is she difficult to entertain?" It was easy for Em to forget that Candice was only a few short years younger than her; since Em had left Hogwarts, it felt like she'd grown ages past her peers. In some ways, at least.
