"Yeah," he muttered. Anthony didn't exactly believe what she had said, and he wasn't sure that he'd go anywhere in life. How was he supposed to afford training, for any job, when he couldn't save up enough for decent meals? The little he had gotten from his parent's will was in safe keeping. It wouldn't be enough to support both Candice and himself while he hunted down better jobs. "I'm sure things will work out." He wasn't a very good actor.
"I don't have much money to save, honestly. I've put a little together to give Candice something to do while she's home. I don't want her sitting around bored while I'm at work, and she's too young to get a job herself. I want her to enjoy her summer. This...I don't know. Don't worry about it. We're fine."
