As soon as Anthony was close enough, she tossed him the toasted beef sub. Though Embyr was hurting for money, making her own food wasn't always an option. Especially when she was in the mood for something that required cooking. Thankfully she had friends like Mr. Holt, the sandwich vendor!
"Cheers, then," Embyr said, thrusting out her sandwich as if it were a fancy champagne flute. "It sounds like Hogwarts has done well for both of us, then. Last week there was a day where the only food I consumed was in the form of Hostess snack cakes." She chuckled, unwrapping one side of the sandwich as daintily as possible. Unwrapping the whole sandwich would have been a disaster; there would've been lettuce and cheese everywhere!
"So where are you living? What're you doing with your life?" She asked the question expecting Anthony to reveal the same great aspirations she remembered from their youth; he was bound to do something great with his life, sooner or later. Having to immediately take over the care of his sister and deal without the financial help of his parents must've been a blow.
