Anthony was going to pause long enough to ask Embyr to choose a spot in the back of the store for their impromptu picnic, but she had already done it without his suggestion! Who said Gryffindor's weren't smart?
On his trek towards the front of the store, he called back jauntily, "Beef. I'm a growing man. Any other is woman's food." With a peek out the front pane-glass windows, he tried to discern how many possible customers would be likely to show up in that last hour before close. Really, there weren't too many people shopping in the corner of Diagon Alley where Flourish and Blott's was located. Temptation had him wanting to close down the store early, but a twinge of guilt tugged at his conscience. In the end he made a compromise and changed the front sign to read "Closed." Oh well. The worst that could happen was he could get fired.
Which, in all honesty, would be pretty bad.
As he made his way back to Embyr, he added, "You can eat whichever. As long as there is meat and bread, I'll be happy. I've been living off of peanut butter for the past two months. Hell, I can't even afford to make my sandwiches with two slices of bread these days."
