She'd noticed him out of the corner of her eye as he first entered, and she'd been tempted to come over to him first but figured giving him some distance might not be a bad thing. Besides, maybe he'd actually socialize for once. Doubtful. But as he approached, she couldn't help but smile a little to herself, she sipped the drink in her hand and people watched for a moment as he teased her.
Casting the man a sideways glance, she looked up at him and then shook her head. "It's the heels," she teased. "You just never got to see me dressed up." Not entirely true, but it had been a while.
"Can't really dance without a partner, can I?" She was keeping it casual, nodding over at him. "I like the jacket, by the way."
