Harry empathized with his friend. Really. But he had always been too curious for his own good, and he'd often found himself asking questions that could get him into trouble. Case in point, asking the Doctors how any of this worked for the third or fourth time. He knew he'd regret it, but he still wanted to at least try to understand.

Where was Hermione when they needed her?

"Of course, it works! It's working now- I think," the female Doctor hit the side of the box-like device again with a slight frown. Harry visibly winced and glanced at Ron with a worried expression then whispered.

"Just...be ready for anything, yeah?"
