Ron was, in fact, not sure of anything, other than the fact that this particular assignment was not going the way he had expected. He had always imagined himself rounding up Death Eaters and dark wizards, not standing around and staring at bit of pavement. But this seemed important to Harry and so Ron tried to make it important to him. Even though the Muggle doctors were always getting in their way. He still wasn't clear on what their deal was. Sometimes he thought they were brother and sister, but then other times, they bickered like they were something else. Most of the time, he had no idea what they were talking about. He needed Harry as his Muggle translator.
"Bloody hell, Harry, don't get them started again," he whispered to his mate. The last thing he needed to hear was another explanation of what exactly that device was supposed to do.
