River expected, for her, the future held only one thing. Well, perhaps there were two options. But she didn't especially fancy a return to her digital prison. No, she'd rather it simply...ended.
Right now, though, she was here, and she was going to take her wife's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze as she pulled away from her and shook her head. "Lead the way?"
She wasn't even sure she remembered what tea tasted like, properly tasted like. That was the trouble with living in a computer for so long. Nothing was real, only simulation drawn from often imperfect memories. She was almost glad for this new face of the Doctor's. It meant everything was new. She wasn't left to dwell on how much she'd forgotten.
"Any brilliant theories as to why we're here? Or how? Because I certainly shouldn't be."
