Who: Everyone!
What: Steve's 'surprise' party
When: July 4th!
Where: The roof of the Enclave

The party will take place on the rooftop of the Enclave. There will be tables of finger-foods food and drinks laid out, including a few cocktails to go around. Tony has graciously volunteered to man the grill, passing out hotdogs and burgers and Torunn has brought the cake over to be presented to the birthday boy after dinner.

Attendees can gather, dance to the music (Big Band and 50s inspired), and socialize. Please feel free to interact with one another in the setting, bring gifts for Steve Rogers (if so inclined), and have fun with your character tropes below!

Though he'd had some suspicions regarding her innocent "quiet dinner" (this was Natasha Romanoff after all, regardless of what was currently happening to her), he'd still admittedly been surprised by the levels she'd gone to for his party. He honestly hadn't expected such a fuss. But it was sweet of her, even if he would tease her later for the way she was so carefully making sure everyone had a full glass. Not to mention the grief Tony would be getting for the way he was happily tending to the grill.

After the initial surprise and greetings, he sought her out, intending to thank her properly in person. He held up his glass in a toast as he reached her, smiling. "Thank you again, Natasha. None of this was in any way needed, but I appreciate it."

When Steve came over, she brightened her smile and nodded, raising her own glass of punch in response. "Oh come on now, like I would just let you get away with anything less than this."

It was true. Steve was a good man and deserved a good time. "Besides, it's an excuse for the whole building to have fun. Who doesn't love a good party? Not to mention my husband over there's having a blast burning the hamburgers." She nodded to Tony who was probably doing a perfectly fine job with the meat.

"I love him, but that man and his grill, I'm telling you."

That made him laugh, ducking his head briefly. "You're right, I really should have known better."

She was right about that, with everything that had happened (and still was happening), it didn't hurt for them to have a chance to let loose a bit. What was happening to the majority of them was concerning in a number of ways, but at this stage not so concerning that he couldn't have a bit of a laugh about it, too.

Such as at the 'husband' she had just mentioned. He followed her gaze over to said man, raising an eyebrow. "He does seem to be enjoying himself." Which was still hilarious. Tony Stark, grilling burgers. "At least he hasn't tried to over complicate that one just yet. Avoids any more incidents like your poor dishwasher."

"Oh, don't give him ideas. Next thing you know we'll have an electronic arm throwing burgers all over the place." She smiled and teased. Sort of. Truth was, she was surprised Tony hadn't already had some sort of contraction assembled and ready for this party of theirs.

"He's a good man. He just gets a little misguided, sometimes." She loved him, right? Or so she told herself. Anyway, the party was in full swing and she had to play hostess.

"So, how's your dance card looking, Mr. Rogers?"

"It would be entertaining at the very least, you have to give him that." This was some...other version of Tony, sure. But Steve didn't doubt in any world Tony would be looking for ways to innovate and experiment.

Her question made him laugh again, smile just a hair more towards the bashful. "Ah, well. Bit empty so far. Maybe that husband of yours wouldn't mind if you helped me out with that?"
